Please Note: The instructions below relate to installing drivers for a networked device. When installing drivers for a local printer please remember to select a local printer in the add printer wizard and to tell Windows if you're printing over Parallel (LPT1) or USB.

For Windows XP/2003 Users

• Click on start
• Click on Control Panel
• Now click on Printers and Faxes icon
• Click on the Add Printer icon
• Click Next
• Select Local Printer attached to this Computer
• If you are printing over Parallel select LPT1 (Recommended Port)
• If you are printing to a networked device select "Create a new port"
• In the dropdown box select "Standard TCP/IP Port"
• Click Next
• Click Next again
• Type in the IP Address
• Leave the Port Name as default
• Now Click finish
• Now Click Have Disk
• Browse your hard disk to where you unzipped the driver files
• Double Click on the .inf file and then click ok
• Now select your model from the long list
• Click Next
• Now type in your desired name for the printer
• Answer Yes or No to setting this as the default printer
• Share the printer out to other windows machines if you want to
• Answer Yes or No to printing a Test Page
• Click finish

The above relates to Windows XP Professional, Windows XP Home, Windows XP Media Center Edition, Windows XP Tablet PC Edition, Windows Server 2003, Windows Small Business Server 2003 

Please Note: The procedure above is the same for Windows XP Professional x64 Edition and Windows Server 2003 x64 Edition.

For Windows 2000 Users

• Click on start
• Scroll up to Settings
• Now go across to Printers
• Click on the Add Printer icon
• Click Next
• Select Local Printer attached to this Computer
• If you are printing over Parallel select LPT1 (Recommended Port)
• If you are printing to a networked device select "Create a new port"
• In the dropdown box select "Standard TCP/IP Port"
• Click Next
• Click Next again
• Type in the IP Address
• Leave the Port Name as default
• Now Click finish
• Now Click Have Disk
• Browse your hard disk to where you unzipped the driver files
• Double Click on the .inf file and then click ok
• Now select your model from the long list
• Click Next
• Now type in your desired name for the printer
• Answer Yes or No to setting this as the default printer
• Share the printer out to other windows machines if you want to
• Answer Yes or No to printing a Test Page
• Click finish
