Please Note: The instructions below relate to installing drivers for a networked device. When installing drivers for a local printer please remember to select a local printer in the add printer wizard and to tell Windows if you're printing over Parallel (LPT1) or USB.
For Windows XP/2003 Users
- Click on start
- Click on Control Panel
- Now click on Printers and Faxes icon
- Click on the Add Printer icon
- Click Next
- Select Local Printer attached to this Computer
- If you are printing over Parallel select LPT1 (Recommended Port)
- If you are printing to a networked device select "Create a new port"
- In the dropdown box select "Standard TCP/IP Port"
- Click Next
- Click Next again
- Type in the IP Address
- Leave the Port Name as default
- Now Click finish
- Now Click Have Disk
- Browse your hard disk to where you unzipped the driver files
- Double Click on the .inf file and then click ok
- Now select your model from the long list
- Click Next
- Now type in your desired name for the printer
- Answer Yes or No to setting this as the default printer
- Share the printer out to other windows machines if you want to
- Answer Yes or No to printing a Test Page
- Click finish

Please Note: The procedure above is the same for Windows XP Professional x64 Edition and Windows Server 2003 x64 Edition.
For Windows 2000 Users
- Click on start
- Scroll up to Settings
- Now go across to Printers
- Click on the Add Printer icon
- Click Next
- Select Local Printer attached to this Computer
- If you are printing over Parallel select LPT1 (Recommended Port)
- If you are printing to a networked device select "Create a new port"
- In the dropdown box select "Standard TCP/IP Port"
- Click Next
- Click Next again
- Type in the IP Address
- Leave the Port Name as default
- Now Click finish
- Now Click Have Disk
- Browse your hard disk to where you unzipped the driver files
- Double Click on the .inf file and then click ok
- Now select your model from the long list
- Click Next
- Now type in your desired name for the printer
- Answer Yes or No to setting this as the default printer
